In this course, learners are introduced to best practices in reading instruction with a focus on fluency, aligned to the science of reading as outlined by the National Reading Panel (NRP) and The Reading League. You will understand the significance of fluency in the reading process and learn fluency principles. You will explore instructional strategies and techniques for systematic and explicit fluency instruction and practice planning for instruction with real-world scenarios.
